To help support their artists and makers in the community, Saratoga Arts is hosting pop-up holiday markets every Saturday through December 19. Each market will feature up to 8 artists selling their unique wares.
Celebrate the Holidays at Rudolph’s Movie Experience & Pyrotechnics Show
Have you heard about Ellms Family Farm’s Rudolph’s Movie Experience & Pyrotechnics Show? It’s a magical, family-friendly event that includes Rudolph trivia, an 11-minute re-telling of the Rudolph holiday classic, and a laser, special effects, and pyrotechnics show that will entertain people of all ages. Rudolph’s Movie Experience is running every Thursday – Sunday until December 22, and tickets are selling out fast.
Explore the All-New Victorian Streetscapes in Downtown Saratoga
Still need to do some holiday gift shopping? Come to downtown Saratoga and shop local this year! The Spa City has transformed as part of the new Victorian Streetscapes celebration. Check out all the beautifully decorated trees as you stroll through downtown.

Rotary Club of Saratoga Springs to Host 12 Days of Giving Raffle
The Saratoga Home & Lifestyle Show is the Rotary Club’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and unfortunately, the community organization has had to cancel the 2021 show. However, you can still support the Rotary Club by participating in their 12 Days of Giving Raffle. They are currently selling raffle tickets for $20 each, and starting December 13, there will be daily drawings for various prizes. Visit their Facebook page for more details.
Piper Boutique Participates in Saratoga Holiday Tree Raffle
Take a stroll down Broadway in Saratoga and you’ll see one of the community’s most colorful Christmas trees at Piper Boutique. If you’d like to win this tree (and either keep or donate it), then you should take part in their Holiday Giving Tree Raffle. Raffle tickets are $5 each, and funds will benefit the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Annual Jingle Bell Run Goes Virtual This Weekend
Get your jingle on at this year’s Virtual Jingle Bell Run, which will be held this weekend from December 11 – 13. Registration closes on December 13, and funds raised from the annual 5K will benefit the Arthritis Foundation.
Enjoy Storytime With Santa From Home
For kids who can’t meet with Santa this year due to COVID-19, Shelters of Saratoga will co-present Storytime with Santa, a virtual event that will begin at 9:00am on December 12 and can be viewed through December 25. The Saratoga Santa will tell stories, sing songs, and read books to the audience. Although the event is free, donations are appreciated to support people in our community.
National Museum of Racing Now Accepting Submissions for Juried Photography Exhibition

The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame has announced they are accepting submissions for their juried photography exhibition program, Photo Finish. For their third annual exhibition, they are looking for photographs depicting scenes of thoroughbred racing in America. Racing scenes, portraits, morning workouts, retired racehorses, and other topics are welcome. Photographs must be submitted by May 10, 2021.
