Dine in a Private Winter Oasis at Prime at Saratoga National
When cold winter weather takes over Saratoga, local restaurants get creative in order to offer comfortable outdoor dining options. For winter 2022, Prime at Saratoga National has announced the opening of The Village at Prime, a unique dining and drinking experience featuring enclosed heated pods. This winter village oasis is located on Prime’s patio, and the pods are surrounded by Christmas trees, fire pits, and seasonal decor that provide a boutique VIP feel.
Each pod is available to rent for lunch or dinner, and reservations are required. Check out Prime’s website for full details.
Fast EV Charging Stations Have Been Installed in Downtown Saratoga
Looking for a way to quickly charge your electric vehicle (EV)? News 10 ABC reports that the New York Power Authority has recently installed the first fast EV charging stations in downtown Saratoga. There are now four new chargers located in the parking lot next to Maple Street at the Saratoga Springs City Center, and they can recharge most of a car’s battery capacity in as little as 20 minutes. In addition, there are four new chargers at the Route 9 Stewart’s Shops in Moreau.
Discover Saratoga’s Newest Childcare Center
Founded this past fall by owners Morgen Casterline and Kayla Cowell, Creative Sprouts Childcare Center is a new educational childcare center located at The Springs, a mixed-use building in Saratoga Springs. As described by The Saratogian, Creative Sprouts aims to “recognize each child as an individual and alter learning for their specific needs.” The Center celebrated their ribbon cutting on December 8, and according to their website, they are now enrolling for preschool and pre-kindergarten.
