The Chowder Tour Returns & 2 More Newsy Updates
It’s Chowder Time in Saratoga!

Originally scheduled for February, the Saratoga Chowder Fest ‘N Tour will finally begin this Saturday, March 19, and run through Saturday, March 26. All week long, delicious chowder will be available at participating restaurants for dine-in or takeout, and then on March 26, the traditional Saratoga Chowderfest will take place from 11:00am-4:00pm. Don’t miss out on this annual food fest!
Stakes Schedule Announced for Summer Meet at Saratoga Race Course

Are you already looking forward to watching the races at Saratoga Race Course this summer? Opening Day is about four months away, and the New York Racing Association, Inc. has just announced some important dates you should know about, including the full stakes schedule.
According to a recent press release, the 40-day racing season will feature 77 stakes worth $22.6 million in total purses. Following the four-day opening weekend (July 14 – 17), racing will be conducted five days a week, Wednesdays – Sundays, apart from closing week, which will end on Labor Day (September 5).
Highlights of the season include the 153rd renewal of the Grade 1, $1.25 million Runhappy Travers on August 27 and the Grade 1, $1 million Whitney on August 6.

New Shirt Fundraiser to Support The International Red Cross’ Ukraine Relief Efforts
Impressions of Saratoga and The Dark Horse Mercantile have teamed up to create two “Glory to Ukraine” t-shirt designs to help raise funds to assist The International Red Cross’ Ukraine relief efforts. The Sunflower garments will be available at Impressions and The Dark Times garments will be available at The Dark Horse Mercantile.
