Come Celebrate Chowderfest in Saratoga Springs
Are your taste buds ready? Chowderfest is back, and it will be held on March 26 from 11:00am-4:00pm in and around Saratoga Springs. Event-goers will have the opportunity to enjoy $2 chowder samples from participating restaurants and then vote for their favorite. There will also be live entertainment and family-friendly activities at different venues.

Get Back Into the Swing of Things at The Fairways of Halfmoon
One of the best parts of spring in the Saratoga area is the return of golf season, and starting today, March 25, The Fairways of Halfmoon in Mechanicville is officially open. The entire 18-hole golf course is open to golfers, and tee times can be booked on their website now.
A New Ice Cream Spot Is Coming to Ballston Spa
Ice cream + mini golf? Yes, please! On April 7, Wind-Chill Factory in Ticonderoga is planning to open a second location at 3 Trieble Avenue in Ballston Spa. This location will be operated by Capital Region residents Brandon Whalen and his wife Keely Whalen; Brandon is the son of Bobby Porter, who owns Wind-Chill Factory in Ticonderoga.

Price Chopper’s Downtown Saratoga Location Prepares to Close
There are a variety of markets and grocery stores in Saratoga Springs, and over the years, the Price Chopper Limited at 55 Railroad Place has been a convenient option for downtown residents. However, according to News 10 ABC, Price Chopper has stated that they will not be renewing the lease for that location, and it will permanently close its doors at 6:00pm on April 16.
Although this Price Chopper will be gone, customers will still be able to shop at the 70,000 sq. ft. Price Chopper SuperCenter on Route 50.
