A Carousel Update & More Newsy Updates to Know About
Take a Ride on the Congress Park Carousel
Have you been to Congress Park recently? If so, then you may have noticed that the Congress Park Carousel is running. Earlier this month, the Saratoga Springs Department of Public Works announced that the Carousel will be open on weekends in May and June from 11am-6pm. Then, the hours will change to daily starting in July. The cost to ride is still just $1.
A New Public Park Will Open in Clifton Park Later This Year
Development of Clifton Park’s new Town Center Park is expected to begin this week, reports the Daily Gazette. Town Center Park will be located between Moe Road and Maxwell Drive Extension, where there is currently 37 acres of green space. Once construction is complete, the new public park will feature trails, an open grass area, and 50 parking spaces. Town officials hope the park will be ready to open by Labor Day of this year.
Tiki Tours Celebrates New Location on Saratoga Lake
Popularly known for its location on Lake George, Tiki Tours has made it way into Saratoga Springs. On Wednesday, May 25, the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the business’ expansion to Saratoga Lake.
