Upbeat on the Roof is back at the Tang Teaching Gallery, and this year’s acts are some of the best yet! Relax with some chill folk or bluegrass vibes, bring your dancing shoes for vibrant Cuban and world jazz, or come see them all for a foot-tappin’ night every Thursday.

Upbeat on the Roof is free, and concerts take place at 6 PM outside the Tang Teaching Museum at Skidmore College every Thursday night from July 7- August 18th. Guests are invited to bring their own blankets, chairs, food and drink for the evening.
This year marks the 21st anniversary of Upbeat on the Roof, and they’ve decided to add something special to every concert night: an art-making station for the kids! Starting at 5:30, kids aged 5-12 can get creative and make art with Tang interns. Each week features a different art-making activity and is free, no registration required!
In case of rain, the concerts and art-making will be held inside the museum, so you don’t have to worry about the weather ruining your evening plans!
