This Weekend at Saratoga Race Course
This Saturday marks the return of one of the biggest race days at Saratoga Race Course, Whitney Day. The day’s card will include the Grade 1, $1 million Whitney and other races. Saratoga Race Course will also honor local breast cancer survivors while supporting To Life!, a Capital Region non-profit organization, at the event.
Also, mark your calendar for August 10-14, the iconic Budweiser Clydesdales will be returning to Saratoga Race Course for the first time in 15 years. There will be tons of special events over the weekend, so you’re not going to want to miss out.
Exciting Events & Performances
The National Museum of Racing’s Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
August 5
Celebrate the induction of the 2022 class into the National Racing Museum and Hall of Fame! This event is free and open to the public, although seating is limited.
Champlain Canalway Cycling Carnival
August 7
Visit Hudson Crossing Park in Schuylerville for this fun event. There will be games, sessions on basic bike maintenance, helmet fittings, and lessons on other practical riding skills.
August 6
Check out the Summer Auto Show at Saratoga Automobile Museum this Saturday from 9 AM-1 PM. Parking is $10, but show field entry is free for spectators. You’re not going to want to miss this awesome event.
The Philadelphia Orchestra: Yo Yo Ma Returns
August 5
The Philadelphia Orchestra’s summer residency at SPAC is underway, and on Saturday night, Yo Yo Ma, world-renowned cellist, will join them in concert at the Performing Arts Center for the first time since 2017.
Casamigos for Jocks and Horses
August 5
This event includes a signature drink and hors d’oeuvres, with the option of purchasing a bottle of Casamigos Tequila signed by Saratoga Jockey Colony. The event is hosted by the The Adelphi Hotel & Casamigos Tequila for the benefit of the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation and the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund.
Ballston Spa Movies in the Park: Sing 2

Check out Sing 2 at Wiswall Park this Friday! Admission is free, and in case of rain, the movie will take place on Saturday, August 6th. Movies start at dusk.
