What’s Happening This Weekend at Saratoga Race Course

There are a couple special weekend events you should be aware of if you’re planning a visit to the Race Course, including:
- Taste NY Pavilion: Happening today through August 14
- The Budweiser Clydesdales at Saratoga Race Course: August 12
- Berkshire Bank Family Sundays at Saratoga Race Course: August 14
- Sunday Brunch At The Rail Of The 1863 Club: August 14
This weekend will also feature live music at Purdy’s Summer Concert Stage with performances by Nite Train on August 12, Family Tree on August 13, and The Switch on August 14.
Furthermore, in honor of National Rum Day on August 16, racing fans will be able to enjoy samples of The Real McCoy outside the Cutwater Stretch. Treasury will offer samples of 19 Crimes Martha’s Chardonnay, Matua Sauvignon Blanc and Rosé at The Starting Gate. These samples will be available free of charge for guests ages 21 and older from 1PM-4PM while supplies last.

The Philadelphia Orchestra: Angel Blue Sings Coleman & Barber

The Philadelphia Orchestra’s summer residency continues with Angel Blue Sings Coleman & Barber on August 12 at 7:30PM, which will feature the SPAC debut of soprano Angel Blue.
2022 Saratoga Pinball & Arcade Show
August 12 – 13
The Saratoga Regional YMCA is hosting a Pinball & Arcade Show on August 12 and 13, and there will be approximately 50 games set on free play with several available for purchase. This event will also have an indoor flea market space for pinball/arcade items.
August 13 – 14
The Markets at Round Lake is a popular summer market that will highlight 80 of the best and brightest artisans in the local and regional maker, crafter, and artisanal edibles community. This year’s event will include a Makers Market, a Food Market, and a Book Market, and it will be held on August 13 from 9AM-5PM and August 14 from 10AM-4PM.

Take a trip to the Saratoga Farmers Market at High Rock Park for all your fresh produce, dairy products, meats, flowers, baked goods, prepared foods, and more. The farmers market will be open from 9AM-1PM.
The Philadelphia Orchestra: Beethoven’s Ninth
August 13
On Saturday at 7:30PM, The Philadelphia Orchestra will conclude their summer residency at SPAC. The evening will be highlighted by Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, and the event will culminate with a brilliant fireworks display.
16th Annual Hudson Crossing Park Cardboard Boat Races
August 13
Bring the family to Fort Hardy Park in Schuylerville on Saturday and cheer on the competitors in the 16th Annual Hudson Crossing Park Cardboard Boat Races. On-site boat building will begin at 8AM, and the first race will kick off at 1PM.
Fasig-Tipton: New York Bred Yearlings
August 14 – 15
Interested in attending a horse sale? The New York Bred Yearlings Sale will take place at Fasig-Tipton in Saratoga Springs on August 14 and 15. This annual sale showcases New York’s finest yearlings.
Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center: The Escher Quartet (3PM)

As part of the CMS at the Meadows concert series, The Escher Quartet will perform live at Pitney Meadows Community Farm under the High Tunnel Greenhouse on August 14 at 3PM. The performance will be 90 minutes long with no intermission.
