2022 Waterford Tugboat Roundup
September 9 – 11
A three-day celebration of the maritime heritage of the Northeast Inland Waterways will be held around the Richard M. Hurst Harbor Center in Waterford. Watch the tugboat parade arrive on Friday evening, and then enjoy live music, boat rides, family activities, and more throughout the rest of the weekend.
September 9 – 10
Plan a trip to the Burnt Hills United Methodist Church on Friday and Saturday for the Lord’s Acre Fair, a family-friendly event featuring a chicken BBQ, pony rides, a rummage sale, and other activities and live entertainment. Admission is free.
The Moreau Community Center Block Party

In partnership with Carriage Traders, the Moreau Community Center in South Glens Falls will present the annual Moreau Community Center Block Party on Saturday from 9:00am-3:00pm. This is a free, family-friendly event that will include exhibitors, activities, a bounce house, entertainment, a mum sale, food vendors, and more to support the mission and projects of the Community Center.

Looking for something fun to do in the Malta area? Head over to 33rd Annual Malta Community Day at Shenantaha Creek Park. From 10:00am-3:00pm, there will be musical entertainment, fire trucks and demonstrations, food for sale, business and non-profit booths, and much more. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The Cheese Tour with Wine, Beer & Cider

One of the tastiest events of the season is coming up this weekend in Washington County. Check out the annual Cheese Tour with Wine, Beer & Cider, which will take place at local participating farms and businesses. During this self-guided tour, you’ll be able to visit each location for samples, special products, and authentic experiences unique to life on a farm. Be sure to map out your route ahead of time and explore all the stops.

12th Annual Car & Truck Show at Curtis Lumber

Summer car show season isn’t over yet! Take a ride to Curtis Lumber in Ballston Spa for the 12th Annual Car & Truck Show on Sunday from 11:00am-3:00pm. This is one of the largest annual car and truck shows in the Capital Region, and spectators can check out all the cool vehicles on display and enjoy food trucks, music, a 50/50 raffle, and more.
