2023 Saratoga Beer Week: Saratoga Beer Summit
February 25
Celebrate winter at the annual Saratoga Beer Summit, which will be held at the Saratoga Springs City Center on Saturday. Over 150 craft beers, hard ciders, and seltzers will be featured at the event, so be sure to get your ticket for a sampling session. General admission includes 3 hours of sampling and a souvenir glass.
Whiskey & Bonfires at The Saratoga Winery

For local whiskey tastings, music, cigar rolling, bonfires, and good times, check out The Saratoga Winery & Tasting Room’s Whiskey & Bonfires party. This annual event will run from 2:00pm-7:00pm, and there is no cover charge. There will also be whiskey pong, cornhole, and plenty of delicious food to order.

On Friday from 7:30pm-9:30pm, the Austin, TX-based Miró Quartet will take the stage at Skidmore College’s Arthur Zankel Music Center for a memorable night of music. For 25 years, this acclaimed string quartet has performed all around the world on the most prestigious concert stages. Tickets cost $15 for the general public, $8 for (non-Skidmore) students and seniors, and $5 for the Skidmore community w/ID.

Starting Saturday, February 25, The Laffer Gallery in Schuylerville is proud to present a new solo exhibition, “A Longer View,” a retrospective for landscape painter Harry Orlyk. Orlyk was born in Troy in 1947, and he is recognized for his plein air oil paintings that capture the landscapes around his current home in Salem, NY.

Make plans for next week by visiting the Saratoga Farmers’ Market at their Wilton Mall location on Saturday from 9:30am-1:30pm. Around 50 vendors will be offering a wide range of items, such as ready-to-eat foods, fresh produce, and artisanal products. Vendors will be set up in the mall’s food court.
Upstate Model Railroaders Freightyard Sale & Open House

Whether you’re a collector or just want to see some cool model railroad layouts with the family, the Upstate Model Railroaders Freightyard Sale & Open House at the Chase Sports Complex in South Glens Falls is well worth a visit. Admission is free, and this event is a great way to experience the wonderful world of model railroading.
Eagle Watch at Moreau Lake State Park

Bring your binoculars and join a Park Educator on Sunday morning for a fun Eagle Watch program. During this convoy-style journey along the Hudson River, you’ll be checking out a few locations in search of local bald eagles. Reservations are required 24 hours in advance, so be sure to call soon.
The Saratoga Springs Record Riot

Head over to the Saratoga Springs City Center on Sunday and shop for vinyl records at The Saratoga Springs Record Riot. You’ll be able to browse over 50 tables of LPs/CDs/45s and more. Admission is $5 at 11:00am or $15 for early admission at 9:00am.
