From Comic Con in downtown Saratoga to an antique fair in nearby Washington County, it’s going to be a fun weekend to get out and explore. Check out some of the event highlights below and make your plans now.

The largest comic con and pop culture event in Upstate NY returns to the Saratoga Springs City Center this weekend. Saratoga Comic Con, presented by Chase Con, will feature celebrities and guest artists, exhibitors, video game tournaments, cosplay contests, and more. Day passes can be purchased online and at the door.
Wings Falls Quilters Guild 2023 Quilt Show
May 5 – 6
Visit the South Glens Falls United Methodist Church on Friday and Saturday for the 2023 Quilt Show. There will be a variety of vendors and a boutique with fine handmade quilts, quilted bags, accessories, and more. Admission is $7 for adults and free for kids under 6.
Washington County Antique Fair #1

Search for hidden treasures, antiques, collectibles, and crafts at the Washington County Antique Fair on Saturday and Sunday. This is the first of two antique fairs that will be held at the Washington County Fairgrounds this year, with the second one scheduled for August 5 – 6. Over 220 vendors from around the U.S. and Canada are expected to be at the event, and daily admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors 65+, and free for kids under 14.
Opening Day Celebration at the Saratoga Farmers’ Market

It’s finally time! The Saratoga Farmers’ Market returns to their outdoor location at High Rock Park this Saturday from 9:00am-1:00pm. Join them for a ribbon cutting ceremony, live music, and other fun activities during the day. And, be sure to stock up on local produce and other artisanal food products while you’re there.
2023 Kentucky Derby Party at the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame

The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame’s annual Derby Party is always a fun time. Get your tickets for this Kentucky-themed fundraiser that will feature delicious samplings of local brews and spirits, Kentucky-inspired dishes from local restaurants, a live airing of the Kentucky Derby, and more. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door.
Kentucky Derby Day Party at the Saratoga Casino Hotel

Come to Saratoga Casino Hotel for a full day of fun on Saturday. They will be offering multiple ways for you to watch and wager on the Kentucky Derby, including at the Mane Bar, Diamond Jim’s, and Vapor. Vapor’s bar will be open, and self-service wagering terminals will be available beginning at 4:00pm. Stick around after the race for a party with DJ NPG.
Family Hike at Moreau Lake State Park

Looking to get outdoors this weekend? Be sure to reserve spots for Moreau Lake State Park’s Family Hike on Sunday at 9:00am. The cost is $5 for adults (18+) and $1 per child, and reservations are required 24 hours in advance. All ages and abilities are welcome.
Capital Underground 35th Anniversary Concert
