Halloween is right around the corner, so come out and make the most of this weekend in Saratoga Springs and the Capital Region. From a rockin’ concert at Rivers Casino to trunk or treats in local communities, this weekend has something for everyone.
Experience an unforgettable night of music at Rivers Casino & Resort’s Event Center when Great White and Slaughter take the stage on Friday, October 27. Renowned for their platinum-selling records Once Bitten and …Twice Shy, blues-rock band Great White has entertained audiences since the 1980s and played with big names like Judas Priest and Whitesnake. Slaughter is a hard-rock band that has produced a number of popular hits like “Up All Night” and “Fly to the Angels.”
Get your tickets now before they sell out! The doors open at 6:00pm, and the show begins at 7:00pm.

The Haunted Hayride season is winding down, so buy your tickets to Double M in Ballston Spa soon! This Halloween attraction features a variety of terrifying experiences, such as Brutality, a post-apocalyptic compound, and The Last Inn, a maze of pure horror.
Trunk or Treat is happening at Clifton Common on Friday from 4:00pm-6:00pm. All families are welcome to attend, and Starpoint Church will be offering free hot dogs, chips, and drinks.
Join the Village of Stillwater for their annual Fall Festival on Saturday from 12:00pm-4:00pm. There will be a Trunk-or-Treat event at the Stillwater Community Center, a scavenger hunt, a haunted house, and other things to do around the community.
Due to inclement weather last weekend, the 5th Annual Saratoga YMCA Trunk or Treat will be held this Saturday from 1:00pm-3:00pm. Head to the Saratoga Regional YMCA with the family and check out all the trunks filled with candy and treats.
The annual Pints for Preservation Pub Crawl returns to downtown Saratoga this weekend. Help support the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation by registering for this fantastic pub crawl to some of Saratoga’s best bars. Tickets are $35 for an individual, $60 for a couple, and $120 for a group of four.
Enjoy a festive Jack-o’-Lantern Trail Walk at Hudson Crossing Park in Schuylerville on Saturday evening. The park’s Sensory Trail will be illuminated with jack-o’-lanterns, and admission is just a $5 suggested donation.
Dress in your favorite Halloween costume for the upcoming Trunk or Treat & Family Fun event at Moreau Recreation Park on Sunday. There will be plenty of candy for all, games, food trucks, kids crafts, and more from 4:00pm-9:00pm.
