120 Intercollegiate Regional Opening Night at Saratoga Arts

Join Saratoga Arts for the opening of the 120 Intercollegiate Regional later today from 5:00pm-7:00pm. This juried exhibition rotates yearly amongst three locations in the Capital Region, and it shines a light on artworks by students who are studying at a college or university within a 120-mile radius. This year’s 120 Intercollegiate Regional will run from March 25 – April 15.

Home Made Theater presents ‘night, Mother

Home Made Theater in Saratoga Springs is proud to present ‘night, Mother, an award-winning play written by American playwright Marsha Norman. ‘night Mother will be performed at the Dee Sarno Theater at Saratoga Arts from March 24 – 26 and March 31 – April 2. The Northeastern Woodworkers Association’s Annual Fine Woodworking Show will be held at the Saratoga Springs City Center on both Saturday and Sunday, and it will feature exhibits, lectures, and more. Come see all the unique creations on display, such as furniture, toys, carvings, turnings, musical instruments, and miniatures. In addition, beautiful handcrafted gifts, books, and other woodworking-related items will be available for purchase at the Showcase Store. Tickets are available online or at the door.

Maple Open House at Maple Valley Farm

Maple Valley Farm in Corinth will be open this weekend for tours, a delicious pancake breakfast (served all day), and vendor shopping. All are welcome to attend and learn how maple syrup is made.

NYS Maple Weekend at Hop City Maple

Bring the family to Hop City Maple in Ballston Spa for their final maple weekend celebration. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the maple syrup making process, taste samples, gather recipes, meet the goats, and purchase products. Fire & Ice Bar at The Mill on Round Lake

The Mill on Round Lake’s annual Fire & Ice Bar will be held the first three weekends of February (Friday – Saturday). Stop by during opening weekend and grab a seat at the longest ice bar in the Capital Region. Highlights include hot chocolate cocktails, fire pits, ice cornhole, a live DJ, and more. Admission is free.

2023 Ballston Spa Chocolate Festival

February 3

Satisfy your sweet tooth at the annual Ballston Spa Chocolate Festival, which will be held at participating locations in downtown Ballston Spa. This event will run from 4:00pm-8:00pm, and treats will be served inside each Sweet Spot. The only time you’ll be outdoors is when you travel between locations, so be sure to dress warm!

10th Chili Bowl Fundraiser

Warm up at Saratoga Clay Arts Center’s 10th Chili Bowl Fundraiser, which will take place at the Saratoga Springs City Center on Saturday from 11:00am-4:00pm. Tickets cost $25 and include a handmade bowl, and attendees can choose from 5 time slots and have the opportunity to purchase more bowls on-site. The Chili Bowl is always a fun time, with live music, a silent auction, and of course, chili taste testing.

2023 Schenectady, NY Wine & Chocolate Festival

For 2023, this annual festival has a new location at the Armory Studios, and it will feature a variety of wineries from across the region, distilleries and cideries, a Chocolate Bar, and more. You’ll even be able to take a look at the beautiful Van Gogh exhibit on display at the venue.

Countdown to the Triple Crown

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Secretariat’s Triple Crown win in 1973 at the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame’s “Countdown to the Triple Crown” fundraiser. There will be drinks and light refreshments, live music, a silent auction, and a viewing of the 16-minute film “What It Takes: Journey to the Hall of Fame.” Admission is $10 for Museum Members and $25 for non-members.

Snowfest at West!

It’s time to hit the snowy slopes, and one of the best places for winter fun in the area is West Mountain in Queensbury. This Saturday, the local ski resort will welcome skiers and snowboarders to their popular Snowfest, which will run from 2:00pm-6:00pm and feature food and drink specials and a bonfire.

In addition, while supplies last, Nemer CJDR of Saratoga and Queensbury will offer free 4-hour ski vouchers as part of a Snowfest promotion. The voucher is only valid on Saturday from 2:00pm-6:00pm.

The Deadbeats at The Saratoga Winery
