In the previous article, I explored the extreme stressors children and adults are up against this school year. Due to current events, the economy, and shifting technology, parents, teachers, and kids are dealing with so much more than the usual back-to-school jitters and academic pressures.
Unfortunately, these chronic, excessive pressures have negative emotional, mental, and physical health ramifications. Since our children’s brains are still developing, they are at an even higher risk of experiencing these detrimental impacts.
Therefore, offering additional supportive mind-body approaches, along with conventional psychiatric care, is crucial for dealing with our mental health crisis.
In my latest article, I expand on my naturopathic medicine toolkit for balancing the mind-body. I introduce “An Integrative Resource Guide to Beating the Back-to-School Stressors and Anxious Jitters of 2022.”
