Breathing in Good Health
Inhalation is the oldest, easiest, and safest way to use essential oils. Breathing in these aromatic molecules creates an instant shift in our mood as their constituents quickly reach our brain and travel throughout our respiratory system and into our whole body.
Even if you are not an oils’ connoisseur, you’ve probably experienced the effects of essential oils through scent. This was either through getting a whiff of an aromatic-emitting friend or from the relaxing scents exuding from a cozy shop.
Many have found that intentional dispersing essential oils into their environment has positive effects on their mind and body. Diffusing, the release of volatile compounds into the air, is one of the most popular ways to enjoy the aromatic and therapeutic benefits of essential oils by using our noses.
The Benefits of Diffusing
Regardless of deliberate or by-passer effects, the benefits of inhalation through diffusing include:
- Air purification without toxic chemicals
- Enhancing our bodies ability to detoxify
- Holistic mind-body support from head to toe
