For the past several weeks, I’ve been exploring the reasons why so many people in Saratoga, NY have been experiencing more robust allergic reactions, digestive problems, skin irritations, mood changes, and sleep disturbances.
Specifically, I’ve reviewed how the increase in environmental and emotional stressors in our world are leading to higher levels of histamine in our blood and increased inflammation and immune activity in our body. This can lead to histamine overload, histamine intolerance, and contribute to Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS).
Thankfully, I have also explained that we can manage elevated histamine, with the first step being to stop the overactive histamine reaction and calm the limbic brain. I also offered a simple, aromatic solution that can aid the healing process and assist with restoring histamine balance.
It is my belief that essential oils can help all the residents and tourists in Saratoga, NY who seek relief from the various symptoms of histamine havoc. They can be used as a means to minimize any immune-related discomfort during Saratoga’s fall events. This is due to the vast properties that essential oils possess, including being:
- Anti-inflammatory
- Hormone, neurotransmitter, and vagal tone modulators
- Mood supportive
- Anti-microbial
- Digestive aids that enhance assimilation, elimination, gastrointestinal barrier function, and support a healthy microbiome
- Antioxidants (cellular protectors)
- Stress relieving
- Supportive of detoxification of harmful compounds
- Vagus nerve modulators
Previously, I provided you with 16 oils that can alleviate excess histamine and enhance your bodily defenses as you move through the autumn activities of Saratoga NY. In my latest post, I offer 16 additional antihistaminic aromatic options.
