When: Tuesday, Aug 6, 2019 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM
Cost: $35 for Junior Ticket, $60 for General Admission and $75+ for Honorary Committee

Visión is an annual highlight of the Saratoga racing season featuring the opening reception of the new pieces in EOC’s photography project “Estamos Aqui” (We Are Here). This is a curated exhibit and ongoing project in which Latino immigrants document their everyday lives and present their own photographs to share their experiences of living and working in the Saratoga Springs area. Through this inspiring photo collective, we gain a unique insight into the lives of those who contribute so meaningfully to our community.

This event benefits Saratoga County EOC’s Latino Community Advocacy Program, which operates a full-time seasonal office at the recreation hall at the Saratoga Race Course where we provide vital services to the largely immigrant backstretch workforce who care for the racehorses. We also serve the immigrant community year-round throughout the greater Saratoga County region. Our bilingual staff organize programming and meet one on one to address the individual needs of workers and their families. We work to create a welcoming community where all workers feel comfortable asking for help and feel connected to the local community.
