Saratoga has hooked Bobby Flay. The Food Network star has made multiple visits to the area over the past few years, and two area eateries were even featured as spots for his famous “throw downs.” This summer Flay returns to the area for something special…
On August 7th Flay will be co-hosting the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation gala (along side of Carolyn Conley of Horse Racing Television). The gala is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the foundation that provides homes and second careers for the thousands of horses that retire once they pass their prime racing age.
Owning and racing several horses himself, Flay has been a fan of horse racing from when he first saw races at Belmont with his Grandfather as a kid. Naturally he would come to Saratoga and support this worthy cause!
The Food Network Star has done throw downs at both Hattie’s in Saratoga and The Ice Cream Man in Greenwich . Last year, Flay attended the Fasig-Tipton Festival of Racing at the Saratoga Race Track.
Don’t miss this chance to meet and greet Bobby Flay! If you go: tickets for the gala are $250 per person, and tables of 10 are $2,500. Call (518) 226-0028 for more information.
