Lunch in Saratoga: delicious food, outdoor dining, basking in the sunshine. But where should you start? There are so many dining options in Saratoga! Should you be at the Farmers Market or a historic eatery? Luckily for the indecisive, there’s a solution to the dilemma.
Why not go on a Saratoga Food Tour? What is a Food Tour might you ask? Well, it is exactly what it sounds like, a chance to traverse Saratoga Springs, while tasting the city’s finest cuisine.
You’ll start at the Farmer’s Market, nibbling at products from various vendors, as you appreciate the local bounty. Next you’ll head to the Old Bryan Inn, where, in addition to eating their famous food, you will also learn about Saratoga history. From there, the tour heads up to Broadway to sample salsas and vinegars, and to finish out the day with a trip to Bettie’s Cupcakes.
This new Saratoga Food Tour takes place at 12:30 every Saturday, now through September, and costs $40 per person. The tours run for about 2 and a half hours and offers tourists a unique way to taste the delicacies of Saratoga, as well as giving locals a new way to experience all their favorites in one afternoon.
The Saratoga Food Tours are poised to become the newest Saratoga summer tradition. Will you be trying it out this summer?
