Local fashion leader opens new designer-focused shop in downtown Saratoga that will feature luxury consignment at off Broadway prices!

To all the fashion savvy “stylistas” and shopaholics of Saratoga, this is one store grand opening you don’t want to miss!

Some of the best styles and designs can be spotted in Saratoga all year round, especially in the summer when those from the city make their way upstate. These fashionistas can be spotted sporting the latest trends as they strut down Broadway in downtown Saratoga Springs.

This summer you can now be adorned in your favorite designer brands at affordable prices, found at the convenience of Saratoga’s newest luxury consignment shoppe, the Saratoga Closet located at 38 Van Dam Street opening July 9th!

Regional fashion leader and stylist, Eliza DeRocker will be opening her latest boutique that will accept designer consignment pieces and regional designer clothing and accessories!

“The girls in Saratoga and the surrounding areas are craving Manhattan designer pieces including authentic handbags and clothing that can’t be found anywhere near here…” says Eliza. “Now they will be able to find those brands right here without the expense and inconvenience of traveling to NYC.”

Saratoga’s Mayor, Joanne Yepsen is enthusiastic about the addition of the boutique to the business community of downtown Saratoga, and will be on-site to preside over the formal ribbon cutting.

Meet the Fashionable Owner: Eliza DeRocker

Eliza DeRocker has vast experience and knowledge in design and styling for the last 10-years. She received her education in the fashion industry from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC as she pursued her passion to become a handbag designer.

She landed the role of handbag designer at various reputable designers including Wathne Limited for Chanel, Bebe, Ralph Lauren, Liz Claiborne, and eventually launched her own line of handbags at Henri Bendel. Her passion for style and design, and her success as a local business owner guarantees fantastic finds for all the fashion addicts of Saratoga at Saratoga Closet.

Eliza also owns Bride and Gown in Glens Falls, which has already proven to be a success. Bride and Gown shares a similar format to the new Saratoga Closet, but strictly focus on bridal gowns and wedding wear. The shop offers affordable prices on hard to find, high-end designer gowns for brides on a budget.
