Saratoga Hospital recently launched Marylou Whitney and Dr. Desmond DelGiacco Intensive Care Unit with a $34 million expansion in hopes of improving patient care and promotion of good health.

This project is one of Saratoga Hospital‘s most important recently. The new ICU hopes to prevent long waiting times for patients but at the same time promote quick recovery and healing.
Local influence is embedded with this new project with paintings from local artists in the waiting room as well as community donations.
The Saratogian spoke with Saratoga Hospital’s President and CEO Angelo Calbone who said,”This has truly been the people’s campaign. We’ve had an overwhelming 1,440 donors to date contribute…Thank you all for your unwavering, loyal support of this hospital and this entire region we all call home.”
