Want the chance to see endangered butterflies on a scenic walk? Head to the Wilton Wildlife Preserve and Park! There will be guided walks on the trails at the park every Wednesday from May 27th through the end of June at 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. where you hopefully be able to spot Karner blue butterflies along the way!

These next few weeks are ideal for seeing Karner blue butterflies as they are out and about searching for food and mates in their Saratoga Sandplains habitat.
The walks will embark on the trails from the Old Gick Farm parking area on Route 50 only a few miles past the Wilton Mall.
Plan to be walking on the trails for approximately an hour and cover a mile of slightly hilly territory. The walks will not take place if its rains and be sure to dress appropriately and comfortably for the weather and insects.
If you have any questions or would like more information, give the Wilton Wildlife Preserve and Park a call at 518-450-0321.
