Hockey fans, assemble! NYRA will welcome one of the most iconic trophies in the world of sports on Monday, August 10th to help raise funds for the Double H Ranch.
The Stanley Cup will be on display at the Community Outreach Booth, outside of the Jockey Silks Room, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Fans can take their photo with the championship trophy with a donation to the Double H Ranch.
Kevin Dineen, a Warren County resident and assistant coach for the current NHL champion team, the Chicago Blackhawks, initiated this special opportunity at the track.
Not familiar with the Double H Ranch? Double H is a year-round camp located in Lake Luzerne, dedicated to providing support for children and their families who are dealing with life-threatening illnesses. Double H strives to provide experiences that are memorable, fun, empowering, physically safe and medically sound.
During the 2015 racing season, local not-for-profit organizations will have the opportunity to raise funds and touch base with thousands of guests who visit the Saratoga Race Course.
