Lots of exciting craft beer and brunch news in Spa City! Whether you’re in the mood for a variety of beers on tap or casual breakfast and lunch options, you’ll be all set with these new openings and upcoming launches.

BarStream Events Launch
BarStream Events takes a one-of-a-kind approach to drink service, using a vintage 1966 Airstream trailer to create a modern mobile event bar and lounge experience. Owners Ben Diedrich and Adam Lombard have the ability to serve cocktails, beer, wine, and cider for high volume events and will kick off their event season with several private parties. The traveling Airstream can be booked for events and parties.
Pint Sized Is Open
Located at 489 Broadway, Pint Sized offers a new hangout for craft beer lovers with 12 tap lines and more than 150 craft beers in their inventory. The bar and bottle shop is unique for its small size while still offering any type of beer a customer could want. The former boutique space seats around 25 people with room for others to browse the inventory. Pint Sized is open seven days a week, from noon to midnight Monday through Saturday and noon to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
R.S. Taylor & Sons Brewery Expansion
R.S. Taylor & Sons Brewery, which opened in Hebron in 2015, is expanding into Saratoga Springs with a second tap room opening in Congress Plaza. Beginning on Saturday, July 1, the tap room will feature seven of the Brewery’s artisan ales on tap, two guest taps of hard cider, and one nitro tap. It will offer a variety of seating options within the barn-like setting and will be a “bring your own food” establishment with the opportunity to order in from other eateries around Saratoga.
Farmers Hardware Coming Soon
Chef Julia Sanzen looks to fill Spa City’s brunch niche with the opening of Farmers Hardware in a revitalized 1925 Warehouse at 35 Maple Avenue. The casual restaurant will be open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily with quick counter service, seating for more than 100 diners, and prices between $10-$14. Take a peek around the north side of the building to check out the custom kitchen built within a shipping container.
Sinclair to Open
Before the track season starts in July, Sinclair at 17 Maple Avenue plans to open its doors. The new restaurant will feature a craft beer garden with an indoor restaurant and bar, a nostalgic arcade area and an event space for private bookings. Owner and former Los Angeles resident Hilary Morrison will feature German-inspired food, as well as 80’s and 90’s coin-operated games.
Oliva Vineyards Looking to Expand
Oliva Vineyards has been searching for a location to open a tasting room for more than a year, and their dream is coming true at 250 Excelsior Avenue. Later this summer, the tasting room will open in a former FedEx warehouse building. The plans include seating for 60 inside and an additional 30 person outside seating area. The tasting room will feature Oliva Vineyards Wine and beer from Racing City Brewing Co. with the possibility of adding food trucks or a full kitchen further in the future.
Blue Peacock Bistro Opens
Blue Peacock Bistro opened in May at the Pavilion Grand Hotel and the urban-chic bistro is open to guests of the hotel and diners looking for an upscale, casual breakfast or lunch spot. The bistro offers wines, craft beers, artesian meat and cheese, dessert platters, juices from Saratoga Juice Bar and french macarons from TC Paris. Blue Peacock Bistro is now open from 7 am to 4 pm daily with indoor and outdoor seating available.
