You don’t need to be a horse racing enthusiast to love and appreciate Saratoga Springs. A travel website just named Saratoga as one one of the top small cities in the entire country, and for more than just the horses.
About the Ranking
Alot Travel compiled a list of the best small cities in the US – those with less than 100,000 residents – and Saratoga was named as one of the top 30.
Although Alot Travel acknowledges that Saratoga is “synonymous with thoroughbred racing” they also point to the mineral springs and rich sense of culture that Saratoga embodies through its many museums: The National Museum of Dance & Hall of Fame, the Saratoga Automobile Museum, and the New York State Military Museum and Veterans Research Center. And of course, there is also the National Museum of Racing & Hall of Fame.
Indeed, quite a number of aspects of Saratoga speak to its placement as a top small city, from the arts and culture scene to mineral springs to the fine dining and much more.
