Travel to Transylvania with Home Made Theater‘s production of Young Frankenstein! The musical comedy, based on Mel Brooks’ 1974 film, will delight theatergoers every weekend from October 13 through 28 at the Spa Little Theater. Werewolf? There wolf. There Home Made Theater. Join the cast of Young Frankenstein as they tell the story of Dr. Frederick Frankenstein, a medical professor destined to follow in the footsteps of his mad scientist grandfather.
Dawn Oesch directs the hilarious musical following her work on last spring’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. At HMT, Oesch has also directed Shrek the Musical and Drowsy Chaperone. Young Frankenstein‘s talented artistic team includes Musical Director Richard Cherry, Choreographer Arlette St. Romain, and Scenic Designer Mary Fran Hughes among many others, as well as an amazing ensemble of actors. Featured performers include:

Show Schedule
Performances of Young Frankenstein will be held Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM, with a matinee held every Sunday at 2 PM.

A Christmas Story Auditions
Want to be a part of HMT’s 34th Season? Now’s your chance! Auditions for the upcoming musical A Christmas Story will be held from 6 PM to 8 PM on Sunday, October 14, and Tuesday, October 16 at the Spa Little Theater.
Roughly 20 roles are available for ages nine and up. Actors will read from provided excerpts during the auditions. Bring a resume and current photo with you, keeping in mind that photos will not be returned. The production will run weekends from December 7 through 16 with two weekday performances on December 11 and 13.
