Saratoga Giant Pumpkinfest | Happening Through Wednesday, October 14
Although the 2020 Saratoga Giant Pumpkinfest weigh-in was for growers only, you can still see some of these massive pumpkins around the area. Instead of a traditional festival, giant pumpkins have been placed at various locations in Saratoga County where the public can stop by and safely view them.
Movies in the Pumpkin Patch | Friday, October 9 – Sunday, October 11
The Salvation Army of Warren, Washington, and Saratoga Counties will present an outdoor movie weekend at the Washington County Fairgrounds featuring Jurassic Park on October 9, Hotel Transylvania on October 10, and Ghostbusters on October 11. Tickets are just $20/vehicle and can be purchased online.
Fall in Love with Maple at Mapleland Farms | Saturday, October 10 – Sunday, October 18

In celebration of the Fall 2020 NYS Maple Tour and the North America-wide Fall in Love with Maple campaign, Mapleland Farms in Salem will be open for visitors daily from October 10 – October 18. Admission is free, and you can experience a self-guided walk on their sugarbush nature trail and learn about sustainable forest management. Maple syrup, maple cotton candy, and other products will be available for purchase.

Fall Farm To Fiber Tour | Saturday, October 10 – Sunday, October 11
The second weekend of the Fall Farm To Fiber Tour will take place on Saturday and Sunday at participating farms, fiber studios, and businesses across eight counties. Some of the participants will offer open house events and demonstrations, and all of them will be selling fleeces, yarn, and finished goods.
