(POSTPONED) Sundaes Best Hot Fudge Sauce Celebrates 20th Anniversary

To celebrate 20 years of making some of the tastiest hot fudge sauce, Sundaes Best Hot Fudge Sauce will host a Chocolate & Vintage Shopping Event at their Wilton chocolate factory on Saturday, January 16, from 10:00am-3:00pm. This event is open to the public and will include chocolate, fun vintage items, Farmer T’s Pickles & Jams, and this month’s featured hot fudge sauce flavor – Marilyn’s Mint.
MLK Saratoga to Host a Virtual Celebration Weekend
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, MLK Saratoga’s 6th Annual Dr. King Celebration Weekend will be held virtually from Friday, January 15 – Monday, January 18, and the theme is “Let’s Talk Saratoga! – Changing the Conversation.”

The Parting Glass Receives an Early Anniversary Present
Now in its 40th year of business, The Parting Glass is one of many businesses that has had to face the challenges of COVID-19. However, according to an article from WNYT NewsChannel 13, the Irish pub will be able to stay open thanks to The Barstool Fund. Established by Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, The Barstool Fund sends grants to restaurants that are struggling during the pandemic.
Ice Skating Returns to the Weibel Avenue Ice Rinks
If you’ve been looking forward to ice skating in Saratoga this season, then you’ll be happy to hear that the wait is over! The Saratoga Springs Recreation Department has announced that public skating and stick sessions will be offered at the Weibel Avenue Ice Rinks. Enjoy a Guided Snowshoe Hike at Wilton Wildlife Preserve
The Wilton Wildlife Preserve is hosting a Winter Discovery Walk at Camp Saratoga North on Sunday, January 17 and Monday, January 18. Enjoy a guided snowshoe hike through the woods as you look for animal tracks and learn about how different plants and animals survive during winter. Reservations are required to participate.
Nourish Designs Helps to Feed Local Children
Located in Ballston Spa, Nourish Designs is a small business that creates and sells clothing and gifts featuring original hand-drawn mandala designs. Each purchase provides nourishing meals to kids in need through the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York.
They have a Ballston Spa clothing collection that celebrates the Ballston Spa Central School District’s four elementary schools, and as of December 2020, shirt and sweatshirt sales resulted in 6,400 meals for kids in Ballston Spa.
