Experience Saratoga Spa State Park a Whole New Way
Last year, Saratoga Performing Arts Center presented Ellen Reid SOUNDWALK, an immersive audio experience created by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Ellen Reid. By using a GPS-enabled app, visitors in Saratoga Spa State Park could to listen to certain music compositions based on their location. These compositions were carefully crafted to harmonize with the park’s landscape and attractions.
Although the 2020 SOUNDWALK ended in November, the audio experience returned on May 20, 2021, and will run through June 1, 2022. The 2021 SOUNDWALK will feature new themes and compositions and stretch from the Avenue of the Pines to the reflecting pool, the Geyser Springs, and beyond.
