Santa Claus Is Coming to Saratoga Springs
The Saratoga Springs Downtown Business Association recently announced that Santa Claus will be coming to town on select dates this holiday season. As an alternative to the traditional in-person visits with Santa at his cottage, children are invited to catch a glimpse of the jolly man in red as he travels to different neighborhoods atop a Tower Ladder fire truck.

518 Donuts Prepares for Grand Opening Celebration
Since entering their soft opening phase back in September, 518 Donuts in Clifton Park has become a popular spot for delicious fresh cake donuts. Now, after a few months of experimenting with new flavors, the donut shop has revealed that their Grand Opening will be on December 1 at 11am. Join them for raffles, specials, tastings, and a live broadcast with Matty Jeff from 107.7 WGNA.
Visit Sunnyside Gardens’ Annual Winter Wonderland
From November 26 – December 23, plan a trip to Sunnyside Gardens in Saratoga Springs and experience their annual Winter Wonderland. This local garden center knows how to celebrate the holiday season, and they will be offering everything from freshly cut Christmas trees to gorgeous handmade wreaths and the largest selection of poinsettias in the region. Get ready for the holidays and enjoy some hot cocoa while you’re there!
Nourish Designs Opens New Storefront in Ballston Spa
Over the past few years, the Ballston Spa-based Nourish Designs has created quality apparel and gift items featuring unique, hand-drawn mandala designs from owner Betsy Seplowitz. Each product sold provides funding for nourishing meals for kids in need through the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York.
If you’d like to shop a great collection of “gifts that give back,” then check out their new storefront at 87 Milton Avenue in Ballston Spa. Their holiday hours are 10am-5:30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, 10am-7pm on Thursday, and 11am-3pm on Sunday.
