The Victorian Streetwalk Returns & Other Holiday Events
The city’s tree is lit, and the holiday spirit is taking over downtown Saratoga. This is a great weekend to visit the community for some shopping, dining, and family-friendly fun. You can enjoy activities and entertainment at the Victorian Streetwalk Weekend, explore the Festival of Trees at the Saratoga Springs City Center, and celebrate the season.

Holiday Season Updates & News to Know
Ellms Christmas Tree Farm Is Now Open
‘Tis the season to get your Christmas tree, and in Ballston Spa, Ellms Family Farm has officially opened their Christmas tree farm as of Thanksgiving weekend. The tree farm is open each week from Friday – Monday until December 22, and they offer fresh-cut trees, cut-your-own trees, and beautiful wreaths. Hot chocolate, trolley rides, tree shaking, bailing, and drilling are available.
Would Your Child Like to Speak with Santa Claus on the Radio?
This holiday season, Saratoga’s Star Radio will present a “Talk Live with Santa” show on December 6, 8, 9, 14, and 16, from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Would your child like to speak with Santa Claus live on the radio? All you have to do is register online, and your child may be chosen as one of the participants. Donate to the Saratoga Springs Heritage Area Visitor Center’s Mitten Tree
Giving back to the community is a wonderful way to celebrate the holidays, and from now through Friday, December 31, you can contribute to the Saratoga Springs Heritage Area Visitor Center’s annual Mitten Tree Program. Everyone is welcome to donate warm winter items, such as hats, scarves, gloves, and mittens, to the Visitor Center Mitten Tree located at 297 Broadway in Saratoga Springs. The tree will be decorated with all of these donated items, and afterwards, they will distributed to local charitable organizations.
A Local Bakery Plans to Open a New Storefront
Based out of the owner’s home in Mechanicville, The Sugar Fairy Bakes LLC is a local bakery that specializes in cakes, pies, pastries, breads, and more. Although the bakery is currently only open for local delivery and pickup, they are planning to open a new storefront at 205 Park Avenue in Mechanicville later this month.
