Saratoga National Golf Club Welcomes Back Golfers
Recognized as one of the country’s premier public golf courses, Saratoga National Golf Club offers an unparalleled experience with 18 holes and superior customer service. The course opens for the season today, April 15, and tee-time reservations can be made up to 30 days in advance. Play a round of golf at this scenic course, and then visit the on-site restaurant Prime for a delicious meal.
Find Your Green Thumb at SPAC’s Upcoming Workshop
Would you like to learn everything you need to know about planting an edible garden? Check out “The Kitchen Garden: Spring!,” the latest event in Saratoga Performing Arts Center’s (SPAC) CulinaryArts@SPAC series.
On Sunday, May 1, “The Kitchen Garden: Spring!” will be a unique workshop and dining experience for both aspiring gardeners and those of us with a green thumb. Participants will learn how to plant an edible garden, sow some seeds, and enjoy a special locally-sourced 3-course farm-to-table lunch. The event will take place at The Pavilion @ SPAC and The Pines Terrace, and there will be morning and afternoon sessions.
Celebrate the Season at Local Ice Cream Shops
One of the signs of spring in Saratoga County is the reopening of ice cream shops, and this week, we have some exciting news to share. As of Tuesday, April 12, the ice cream window at Bubble’s Restaurant in Mechanicville is now open, and as 11:00am today, April 15, Humpty Dumpty Ice Cream in Saratoga Springs is ready to serve your favorite frozen treat. Plan a trip and satisfy that ice cream craving!

Spring Training is About to Kick Off at the Oklahoma Training Track
The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) has announced that the Oklahoma Training Track at Saratoga Race Course will open for spring training on Saturday, April 16. For the best views of the horses, be sure to stop by when the Whitney Viewing Stand opens to the public on Friday, April 29. Prior to the start of the 2022 summer meet, the Viewing Stand will be open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7:00am-10:00am. You can access it through Gate 21 on East Avenue free of charge.
