Each morning of the summer racing meet, you can enjoy a buffet breakfast at Saratoga Race Course from 7 to 9:30 am. This gives you the unique opportunity to dine trackside while you watch the horses work out!

Admission to the Track for breakfast is free, and the cost of the breakfast buffet is just $14.95 per adult and $7.95 for children (ages 3-12). There is a $10 fee for trackside parking, which is refundable if you leave before 10 am. The Track is cleared after the breakfast program, and you will need to pay Race Course admission upon reentry for the afternoon races.

Tram tours make breakfast at Saratoga Race Course even more enjoyable. After your meal, go for a free 45-minute tram and walking tour of the track's historic Backstretch area, watching the Paddock Show and Starting Gate Demonstration. Six tours depart every 15 minutes from 8 to 9:15 am. Tours get increasingly popular as the morning progresses, and no reservations are allowed. The Track turns away guests when tours reach capacity, so your safest bet is to grab one of the early tours if possible. There are no tram tours on Travers Day or Closing Day (Labor Day) each year.

Travers Day

The Race Track breakfast program changes a little for the popular Travers Day in Saratoga. Admission to the Track for breakfast is $10, which also pays for Clubhouse admission for the day. Breakfast guests do not have to clear out after the program ends, but can stay for the racing day. There are no tram tours during breakfast, and there is no parking fee refund on Travers Day.
