A frost advisory has been issued for the western and southern Adirondacks, including southeastern Warren county, from 3 a.m. through 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for the overnight into early Tuesday morning for much of the western and central Adirondacks and southern Warren county, including the city of Glens Falls and Lake George.
Temperatures overnight are expected to drop into the mid 30’s, which will allow for areas of frost to form. These near freezing temperatures and areas of frost will damage unprotected crops and tender vegetation.
Any vegetation that is left uncovered overnight may be killed. Take proper precautions to prevent this by covering plants with a tarp or bringing them inside for the night.
Temperatures are expected to drop into the 30’s overnight across the higher terrain around Saratoga county and a frost advisory has been issued.
