She produced her first flower and leaf paintings as well as Adirondack landscapes at the family home of her husband, Alfred Stieglitz, on Lake George. Jane Dell's paintings explore the expressive and metaphorical potential of scale, the poetics of space and mental states. They represent a relative and curious universe that invites the discovery of imaginative worlds as they unfold.
Liz Parsons' paintings take form as a visual journal on canvas, where layers of autobiographical experiences evolve through memory, imagery and thoughts.
Jane Dell is an award winning artist, born in NYC. She has studied at the Arts Students League of New York and the School of Visual Arts. Dell received her BFA from Pratt Institute. Dell has exhibited widely in the Northeast including the Monmouth Museum and the Drawing Center in New York. She lives in New Jersey.
