About this event

CAPTAIN Community Human Services is proud to present the 16th annual An Unbridled Affair Gala, to be held on Thursday, July 18th, 2024, at Prime at Saratoga National Golf Club.

Join Honorary Chairs Tom and Karen Bellhouse, and Co-Chairs Denise Desmond, Belinda Kurcharski, and Patti Novo as we dine and delight while mingling with friends and special guests from the world of Thoroughbred Racing – all in support of local nonprofit, CAPTAIN Community Human Services.

The gala will honor Jeff and Kara Haraden of Mohawk Honda, a couple dedicated to the betterment of our community through support of our programs and services, particularly our Runaway and Homeless Youth Shelter. We’ll also honor the Grade 1 winning American Thoroughbred racehorse and 2023 American Horse of the year, Cody’s Wish.

In addition, this year will present a special conversation, Honoring Our Heritage; Transforming for the Future with Dr. Bill Long and Bill Casey, as well as inspiring stories from change-makers Danielle Darrow and Chad and Brittany Gregory of Next Generation.

This year’s Gala will be the most spectacular and successful ever with Saratoga National’s award-winning golf course offering unsurpassed views and world class cuisine in an open-air tent. It will also feature new and exciting items for the auction and raffle, entertainment by J Yager and Chris Dollard, a captivating program emceed by Spectrum News 1 anchor Dan Bazile, along with many more surprises!
