Other than a couple of fast moving weak disturbances that may trigger a widely isolated shower or storm today and Tuesday, much of this upcoming week looks rather quiet in the weather department.
After a pleasantly cool weekend, temperatures will rebound to near or slightly above seasonable values this week, with mainly dry conditions. High pressure will send an upper level trough out to sea by mid-week, with quiet weather looking to continue into the upcoming weekend and no big storms in sight.
With many local colleges back in session by next week, it looks like the weather will cooperate with opening activities this weekend, but will this nice stretch of weather continue into Labor Day? We will just have to wait and see!
