Learn About the 2026 Fasig-Tipton Horse Sales in Saratoga Springs, NY

Fasig-Tipton was founded in 1898 by William B. Fasig and Edward A. Tipton as an auction house for the sale of thoroughbred horses. The firm, now owned by a company based in Dubai, has offices in Kentucky, Maryland, Texas, Florida, and Saratoga Springs, NY.

The Saratoga Springs office is located less than a half mile from the racetrack. The annual sales take place at the Humphrey S. Finney Pavilion, which houses a small auditorium and an oblong walking ring the horses are presented on.

There are three sales scheduled annually in Saratoga Springs:

• The Saratoga Sale: August 10-11, 2026
• New York Bred Yearlings: August 16-17, 2026
• The Saratoga Fall Mixed Sale: October 12, 2026
