Coming to Saratoga Race Course this summer? This page highlights the stakes races that will take place during the 2026 Saratoga summer meet, which features an expanded schedule and more racing days than in past years.
For 2026, the Saratoga summer meet will run for 10 weeks and include 46 days of live racing, beginning with the returning July 4th Racing Festival, which serves as Opening Weekend. Racing generally takes place on a mix of four- and five-day weeks throughout the season.
As a general rule, Saratoga Race Course is dark on Mondays and Tuesdays. However, for the first portion of the 2026 meet, the track will also be dark on Wednesdays. The full five-day race week resumes on July 29, with the final exception being Labor Day Monday, which serves as Closing Day.
