Join Hudson Crossing Park and Riverkeeper for a clean-up of Lock 5 Island on Saturday, May 1, for the 10th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep, a day of service for the Hudson River and its tributaries.
Volunteers will meet at the Hudson Crossing Park Pavilion. Parking is available at the Hudson Crossing Park parking lot, which is located beyond Champlain Canal Lock 5. You will see the HCP gate and parking lot is on the right. We ask all Sweep volunteers to wear sturdy shoes or boots, clothing that they can get dirty, and to bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, and a face mask, work gloves and hand sanitizer.
Please note, Hudson Crossing Park is a carry-in, carry-out park. This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with proper adult supervision.
