Three-Day Job Fair Planned For 2022 Saratoga Racing Season

Interested in getting a job at the Saratoga Race Track this summer? The New York Racing Association (NYRA) has a variety of positions it needs to fill, and is holding a three-day job fair in May to meet and interview candidates.

Qualifications: You must be at least 15 years old to apply, with New York State Certified Working Papers, photo ID, and social security card or I-9 alternative. Prospective security guards, cashiers, and betting clerks must be at least 18 years of age to apply. Security guards must have a high school degree or GED.

Race Course Interview Schedule & Opportunities

Job fair interviews for the 2022 Racing Season will be held on:

  • Thursday, May 19 (2PM - 7PM)
  • Friday, May 20 (4PM - 7PM)
  • Saturday, May 21 (10AM - 2PM)

Opportunities are available for: hospitality ambassadors; guest services; cashiers; parking attendants; ticket scanners; Bets Squad representatives; white caps/ushers; box office; betting clerks; parking attendants; technology interns; security guards; porters; cooks; waitstaff; bussers; merchandise clerks; concessions supervisors and cashiers; cleaners; and warehouse workers.

Positions are available with NYRA, Integrated Staffing, Levy Restaurants, Mazzone Hospitality, AmTote International, Dyehard Fan Supply, AllPro, and Union Square Events, among others.

What To Bring

Working papers and two types of identification, which may include:

  • Driver's License or State ID (must be at least 15 years old to apply)
  • Social Security Card
  • Passport
  • Birth Certificate
  • Right-To-Work Visa

Where To Go

The job fair will be held at Saratoga Race Course's 1863 Club. Enter through the clubhouse gates at the intersection of Wright Street and Frank Sullivan Way. Parking is available at the clubhouse lot. You should be well dressed and prepared for an interview.
