I thought I would shake things up a bit and talk about some of the things you do not want to do, or want to avoid regarding your fitness.
Do NOT:
Be afraid – to try something different, talk to someone in class, meet a personal trainer.
Over do it – burning yourself out is not a good way to make this part of your lifestyle.
Under do it – you cannot expect to lose 50lbs in a year by walking up the steps once a day.
Think it costs $$$ – there are tons of FREE workouts on Demand and on Youtube that you can do at home without a gym membership.
Underestimate yourself – if you give yourself the chance and simply try, you WILL be amazed at what you can accomplish.
Starve yourself – workouts need energy, food = energy.
Get bored – never tried yoga, spinning, bootcamp or pilates? GET OUT THERE! There are plenty of places in Saratoga where you can try out a class for free, or just pay as you go. Both of those options are available at my Saratoga Cycling Studio.
