A steamy and sultry air mass that has been in place across the region over the last several days will be ushered to the south by a frontal boundary. In its’ wake, cooler and much drier air will filter into the region later tonight into Thursday, setting up a spectacular opening day at the Saratoga Race Track on Friday.
Current forecasts call for partly sunny skies on Friday with temperatures in the upper 70’s to near 80 degrees, along with very comfortable humidity levels. Across southern portions of the region, a weak disturbance moving along the stalled frontal boundary may push some clouds and even a few showers northward into the Capital Region, but this activity is expected to stay south of Saratoga at this time.
