A slight drying trend will start to develop into Sunday across the region as an upper trough and associated weather disturbance pull away to the east. This will allow for increasing sunshine and only a slight chance of a shower on Sunday afternoon, but an even better chance of a dry day on Monday.
Although after a very brief break to start the week, things will once again become unsettled late Monday and into the mid-week period with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible just about every day. A very typical summer-like pattern will set up as several areas of low pressure move along a nearly stationary frontal boundary that will be nearby.
