HELLO MY NAME IS…
…Kristina Krawchuk and I love telling stories. Allow me to rephrase — I love hearing and telling compelling stories that promote change. Change in one’s opinion encourages action, which leads to making a difference, and that is the root of “KK’s ‘Toga Tales.”
How did “KK’s ‘Toga Tales” come to fruition? I assure you, getting into blog writing was never on my to-do list. That list is beyond full. Rick Marchant, New Business Development at Mannix Marketing, Inc., suggested it about two years ago — a time when I was up to my eyeballs in search of balance. A blog, I thought to myself. Those opinionated columns where angry people jump on their soap boxes and spread negativity. Blech — no thank you. I have enough drama in my life; no need for more. So I politely declined.
Fast-forward to spring 2011. Rick approached me again, saying he “loves my Facebook posts and all my journeys” and why not help promote my Passion Project (more on this later) by blogging. Ding-ding-ding-ding. My wheels started spinning and during one of my (many) sleepless nights, I envisioned the blog and began the process. OK, so it is a little late to launch. I wanted to get it going on May 1, then June 1 and, well, here we are. It reminds me of a T-shirt my sister once bought me: “Always late, but worth the wait.” And to that I say, Giddyap!
“KK’s ‘Toga Tales” will journal my excursions as a single, 40-year-old, multifaceted entrepreneur, in search of finding all that is good in the world. This blog will surely make you laugh, and it may make you cry, but most important, if I have my way it will make you think. Read it, “Like” it, spread it. Become an active follower and help me help others. If you have any comments, questions or suggestions, I really want to hear from you. You can contact me directly at kkmedia@me.com.
Until my next entry, I leave you with a sentence from a dear friend we lost to cancer in 2009: “Live with passion and live with purpose.” It will close all of my entries.
Cheers my friends,
XxookK
