Want to Work at the Track? Attend the 2026 Saratoga Race Course Job Fair

Looking for an exciting summer job? Saratoga Race Course is hiring! The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) is gearing up for the season and hosting a job fair on Thursday, May 21, 2026.

Representatives will meet and interview candidates for a variety of positions for the upcoming summer meet, which officially kicks off Friday, July 3rd and runs through Monday, September 7th.

2026 Race Course Opportunities

NYRA is looking to fill a wide range of roles to keep the track running smoothly. Available positions include:

  • Operations: Maintenance and grounds crew, parking attendants.
  • Customer service: White caps, merchandise clerks, and general customer service.
  • Finance & wagering: Mutuel clerks, cashiers, and betting clerks.
  • Safety: Security guards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Age: You must be at least 15 years old to apply.
  • Working papers: Applicants under 18 must provide New York State Certified Working Papers.
  • Role-specific limits: Prospective security guards, cashiers, and betting clerks must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Education: Security guards are required to have a high school diploma or GED.

What To Bring

All applicants must be prepared for an on-the-spot interview and must present a photo ID and a Social Security card (or a valid I-9 alternative).

Common forms of ID include:

  • Driver's License or State ID
  • Passport
  • Birth Certificate
  • Right-To-Work Visa

Where To Go

The job fair will be held inside the 1863 Club at Saratoga Race Course.

  • Date: Thursday, May 21, 2026
  • Time: 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Entry: Attendees should enter through the Wright Street entrance (Gate 8).
  • Parking: Available in the lot adjacent to the 1863 Club.
