7 Open House Job Fairs Planned For 2009 Saratoga Racing Season

Interested in a job at the Saratoga Race Track this summer? The racing season is just around the corner, and there are various positions to apply for at the Saratoga Race Course. NYRA is holding 7 open house job fairs to interview candidates and fill these positions in Saratoga. You must be at least 16 years old to apply, with working papers and photo ID.

10:00 am - 2:00 pm on the following dates:

• Saturday, April 25
• Sunday, April 26
• Saturday, May 9
• Saturday, June 27
• Sunday, June 28
• Saturday, July 11
• Sunday, July 12

Jobs Available At The Track

• Ushers (whitecaps)
• Security personnel
• Admissions cashiers
• General labor crew
• Betting clerks
• Parking attendants
• Customer service
• Group sales
• Turf work
• Greenhouse work / planting

What To Bring

Working papers and two types of identification, which may include:

• driver’s license
• state ID
• passport
• birth certificate
• right-to-work visa

Where To Go

All job fairs will be held in the Racing Office at the Saratoga Race Course on Union Avenue in Saratoga Springs. Enter through the main gate on Union Avenue and East Avenue. From there, make your way over to the paddock mutuel bay with the other applicants. You should be well dressed and prepared for an interview.
