The Courthouse will hold its 6th Annual Fall Fundraising Event entitled Beer’ n Brats, which will be held on Saturday, October 2nd from 4pm - 8pm.

This year we are limiting the number of tickets sold to ensure a more socially distanced environment outside. The Courthouse will only be selling 150 tickets (down from the usual 300). Admission to the event is $15.00 with an additional fee for a brats dinner or a burger dinner, which will be catered by The Hangry Scot and product purchased from Yushak’s Market. There will also be a reduced admission price for anyone under 21. We also ask patrons to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Salem Food Pantry to help our neighbors in need.

Admission price ensures samplings of all the beers and ciders provided by local breweries from Washington County and surrounding area. A full list of our brewers will be provided on our website in the coming weeks. Please check us out at Salemcourthouse.org to learn more.

The band, Simple Beggars, will be performing from 5 - 7 pm for entertainment.

This event is a fundraiser for the Historic Salem Courthouse which will help ensure programs and services continue to be provided in a meaningful way throughout the year. The Courthouse will also have a basket raffle for all to enjoy. This is a family friendly event as we will have corn hole, a ping pong table, and other outdoor activities. We also encourage children/families to bring a decorated pumpkin as we will host a family friendly contest and award the best carved or decorated pumpkin. This will take place in the North Barn.

Finally, we are excited to be showcasing Elizabeth Donaldson’s photography at the Courthouse. Liz is a local artist from Washington County and she will be exhibiting her work in our Great Hall. Her exhibit will run from Saturday, October 2nd - Friday, November 6th.

Help us to safely celebrate The Wurst Party Ever!
