It’s November and cold and dark in Saratoga Springs and as beautiful Saratoga is when holiday time comes around, there are many of us who can’t help but feel a little blue. And as I try to do everything naturally to combat wellness issues, I started eating a banana a day as bananas are high in tryptophan which changes into serotonin which helps control your moods, serotonin is known as the happy chemical.
Bananas are also my favorite healthy food, because they are cheap, sweet, fast, last a long time and even when they are past ripe you can freeze them and add them to a smoothie or make banana bread.
