We are quickly approaching March 1st, which means you may be a few months into your New Year’s Resolutions. With Spring on the way, our clothing options are going to be changing from bulky sweaters to something that might show a bit more skin. Have you reached any small goals? Have you given up?
No matter where you are on your journey, everyday is a new chance to take control of your health and begin again. Like we have discussed previously, setting small goals will help you to achieve overall success.
My Spinning studio has had hundreds of new clients on the bikes since January 1st and almost 90% of them have been retained as they continue on their journey for better health. Statistically, only 8% of people succeed with their New Year’s Resolutions, so we couldn’t be more proud of our clients!
Here are some small goals to get you back on track, or to help push you a little further:
Work out at least 15 minutes more this week than last week.
Drink 1 more glass of water today than you did yesterday.
Add some veggies to your breakfast tomorrow.
Skip the sugar in your morning coffee or tea.
If you can’t make it to the gym or fitness studio today, try taking a walk around the block.
Treat yourself to a new pair of sneakers.
