How annoying is it when you start something and you just can’t finish it or follow through to completion? My solution: set realistic goals and get there by using baby steps. None of us are perfect, and that is okay!
Your baby step for today: be honest with yourself. For me, that means that I don’t have to feel bad about drinking a few really good, micro-brewed beers during the Buffalo Bills game tonight. I know I will enjoy them and I know that I won’t gain 10 pounds overnight due to them. I also know that I am teaching 3 classes on Friday (hello, Happy Hour Spin!!!) and those extra calories will be gone!
